ORIGIN:
Exploration became a key mission for the humans several thousand years ago. In every successful expedition you would find the Lineage of Leer. The Leer were invaluable to the groups of travelers in search of new places to colonize, ultimately making the Leer house very wealthy. The Lineage of Leer were also the trackers of the ancient times. Because of their instinct they had a very high rate of success. Once sea travel became prevalent the Leer lost their edge, as they were not a seafaring people. In order to make money, some people pretended to be from Leer. When their journeys failed it hurt the family name. This rippled through their settlements as it became more difficult to find work and trade for food.
PAST:
The Lineage of Leer started a new colony called Valin on a resource rich peninsula. They decided to renew their family name by starting over as a hub for travel rather than tracking and discovery. Over generations they became the Archers of Valin, elite sniper guards and lookouts. Civilians took over the responsibilities of daily commerce. Through all this the Lineage of Leer is still know as one of the wealthiest families. The House of Leer took the least casualties when the Brask attacked. They covered the other houses from a distance and were able to make it out before the city fell.
PRESENT:
Only a couple Leer stayed behind, in hopes of helping their captured friends. They scavenge the city for supplies as they observe the Brask, looking for a chance to help their allies.
