House of Arin

ORIGIN:

The Arin family line originated from the Clan of Aryn in ancient times. They lived mostly in the mountains and were exceptional miners and survivalists. A physically strong family, they excelled at most manual labor so they provided minerals and metals to nearby tribes in exchange for food, etc.

PAST:

Eventually through expansion they discovered a small settlement called Valin in a very resource rich location. They moved the majority of the family to Valin to help mine the local land. Over time, as they became familiar with the surroundings, they began to move into a militant role rather than manual labor. During the Brask War the Arin Simra were the ground soldiers. They were the closest to matching the Brask’s brute strength. The Arin soldiers that weren’t captured or killed by Brask, sacrificed themselves in order to keep the advancing armies out of the city as long as possible.

PRESENT:

Today, they are divided. There are few known living family members from the House. They serve in the underground labor camps, digging. To this day, they still do not know what the Brask are looking for.
